The EPA regulations require that the volumes reported as delivered by one custodian (Entity/Facility) to another on the Designate and Track Handoff reports must match EXACTLY. The CrossTrak™ service was developed to automate the process of confirming these numbers prior to submitting reports to the EPA to avoid having to reconcile exceptions after the fact.

The CrossTrak™ system is an Internet based application which provides a platform for DieselTrakker™ clients and their business partners to confirm handoff volumes for product movements on an ongoing basis. Once the handoff is confirmed with the counterparty via a secured data exchange on the CrossRoads™ server, a transaction record is returned to the Client and posted in its database.

The CrossTrak™ system web services can be accessed from all DieselTrakker™ clients. Additionally, we are planning to interface non-DieselTrakker™ clients to CrossTrak™ to allow them to confirm their volumes.

The system provides Clients with an audit trail of the volume confirmation process. In the event the client is unable to get positive confirmations of 100% of its handoffs prior to the end of a compliance period, the system will provide a record of the volumes which will need to be followed up in the event of an exception.
