VeriCenter

The DieselTrakker™ system and the associated operating system software resides on servers located at a VeriCenter data center in Houston. VeriCenter provides managed hosting, co-location, and IT outsourcing services for mid-size to-large enterprises via a nationwide network of seven data center facilities.

We chose VeriCenter to host our applications due to their experience with large systems, multiple data centers, and their experience during the recent hurricane season. VeriCenter's locations were up and running throughout Hurricane Rita, an important plus in providing assurance that the system will be available to clients.

Your installation and annual maintenance fees include both hardware and software maintenance, scheduled backups, and all applicable third party software security patches as well as the services of a Database Administrator for routine database tuning.

Security

To provide maximum reliability and the ability to scale up as transaction volume increases, we have one primary and one backup server for each system module. The CrossTrak™ system resides on a separate physical server to provide true separation of the client's database from the handoff confirmation system.

We will provide licensees with details regarding uptime guarantees, backup schedules, and information needed for SAS 70 Type 2 compliance documentation on request.
